The 2020-21 English Premier League season has finally come to an end and fans can finally start looking forward to the next football campaign. However, before then, they would first continue to follow the transfer activities of their respective clubs as the summer transfer window continues to draw nearer. Liverpool fans will especially finally have the rest of their mind knowing that their club eventually qualified for next season’s UEFA Champions League group stages even though they would not have believed it would happen in the middle of the season.
They have already started making a statement of intent after agreeing a deal with RB Leipzig for the transfer of defender Ibrahima Konate from the German Bundesliga. The defender will reportedly arrive at Anfield in the summer for a fee said to be in the region of £30 million, as confirmed by transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano on his official Twitter handle page.
And now, the club’s former player, Alberto Aquilani, has revealed that he believes that his former club will get very busy this summer and that they will sign players that will bring them back to the top of the Premier League table next season.
