Barcelona’s wonderkid Pedri has been getting a lot of attention from a lot of former players for his splendid performances both for his club and country and it does not look like those praises will be stopping anytime soon. The young midfielder was handed his debut by manager Ronald Koeman last season and he took his chance confidently, ensuring that he deserved being played consecutively in the La Liga last season. His impressive performances did not go unnoticed as he eventually earned himself a call-up to the Spain national team by head coach Luis Enrique as he was asked to join up with the squad for their Euros campaign.
Spain head coach Enrique mentioned that the world of football had witnessed the birth of a new star and that Pedri was the future of not only Barcelona but also for Spain. Former Barcelona and Spain midfield maestro Andres Iniesta agreed to those comments and tipped Pedri to have a great future following his developments and those words would surely serve as a morale booster for the youngster.
Former Liverpool star Alberto Aquilani has now expressed his delight in Pedri, insisting that the teenager is having a remarkable development, and said he is on his way to the top if he continues that way.
