Jonjo Shelvey comment on Alberto being Best in Technical Level

JonjoShelvey says that his former Liverpool teammate Alberto Aquilani remains as one of the best he has ever seen on a technical level.

Aquilani came to the club for £ 20 million from Italian club Roma. Rafa Benitez saw him as the ideal replacement for Xabi Alonso, who was being linked with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich back then. Even though the Italian started out well, there were initial doubts about his fitness. Those concerns proved extremely right after Aquilani made only 18 appearances in his first season at the club.

This also proved to be his final full season at Liverpool, as Aquilani ended up being loaned out to clubs like Juventus. Now with Sporting CP, the player has been contemplating a return to Italian football. However, he definitely appears to have made a mark in his short time with the Merseyside outfit. Shelvey, who had just joined the club from Charlton Athletic, was training with the first-team when he got the chance to experience the brilliant side of Aquilani. Despite having played with some of the greatest players in the world like Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney – while with the national team, Shelvey says that none can beat the technical ability of the Italian. Daniele De Rossi is not that much surprised to see Juventus struggling

Daniele De Rossi is not that much surprised to see Juventus struggling in the Italian top tier at the moment because he believes it’s not easy for them to recover from the loss of some of the legends who had been pivotal in their squad for a number of years.

Juventus lost the likes of Vidal and Pirlo at the end of the last season and according to De Rossi, it would take some time for the other guys to develop and be good enough to fill those big shoes.

La Goeba faced Udinese in their first game at home and lost 1-0. They were expected to bounce back on their Roma visit, but, the performance was on the same lines again and Roma secured a 2-1 win with Pjanic and Dzeko striking for them.

De Rossi, who got booked during that game at Stadio Olimpico, was pretty ecstatic with the win over the reigning champions, but, he also pointed out in the post match interview that his team lacked energy for a little period in the second half which could have proved costly. Diego Milito’s dream of winning the Argentine title was fulfilled

Diego Milito’s dream of winning the Argentine title was fulfilled during the very first season when the Argentine forward made his return to Racing Club which was the club where he signed his first professional and performed at his 19 years of age.

During the 2014-15 season, Racing Club was crowned as the champions of Argentina after winning the Argentina Primera Division and this is a huge accomplishment taking into consideration that it’s the top tier league of the South American country and that the club had not lifted that trophy in over 11 years.

This title was not only especially significant for Racing Club but it was even more important for Diego Militoas he returned to his youth club and came back in full force as he helped the Argentine side in winning the league title by scoring 6 goals and providing 4 assists.

The next task of Racing Club and Diego Milito is to protect their latest piece of silverware but it will be a difficult mission to accomplish as the team has sustained 3 draws, 1 loss and 3 victories during the 7 opening matches of this new season. It hasn’t been a stellar start of season but there is more than enough time to climb spots and truly initiate their title defending campaign.

Inter Milan was the last top European club that Diego Milito performed in before he decided to make a return to Racing Club but the Italian outfit has struggled trying to get into the top spots of the Serie A. This has even caused the club on having to make a change in their managers as Roberto Mancini replaced Walter Mazzarri.
